Authorities: 6 more counts planned in abuse case

HANAHAN, S.C. (AP) — Police in Hanahan say they expect to bring six more charges against a Charleston-area educator and coach already accused of molesting five boys.

Police Capt. Michael Fowler said he did not know the specific details or when the additional counts would be filed against 32-year-old Louis ReVille. But he said ReVille once had a house in Hanahan and the allegations stem from written statements from ReVille.

ReVille, arrested last month, is already charged in nearby Mount Pleasant with five counts of sexually assaulting boys whom he coached.

ReVille’s lawyer said during a hearing on the earlier charges that his client is “extremely remorseful” for his actions.
