Soldiers Get Special Christmas Gift

FORT JACKSON, S.C. (WOLO) – It’s a well-deserved gift. Some of South Carolina’s bravest are getting a little more than 12 days of Christmas. Fort Jackson officials say soldiers in basic combat training will head home for the holidays on December 20th, but they don’t have to return until January 4th.
