Destoryed Geese Eggs Controversy

(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., — Some animal rights activists say they’re up in arms after a nest of geese eggs outside of the SLED complex was destroyed. According to Sled Spokesman Thom Berry, the geese were hissing and running after people as they approached the lab to get in as they attempted to protect their eggs. Berry says the department had permission to destroy the eggs that were located near the door of the people to stop the nuisance. Animal right activists however, say alternative options could have been taken to get rid of the geese. A memorial service is scheduled to take place Sunday afternoon at 4 where the nest use to be.
