Richland County Shooting Investigated

(WOLO) RICHLAND, COUNTY, S.C.,– Four men are behind bars accused of taking part in a shooting rampage in Eastover at the intersections of Main and Anderson streets last Saturday night. Sheriff’s deputies say officers were patrolling an area nearby when they heard gun shots ring out. Authorities responded to the area and were able to pull over a car matching the description of the suspects getaway vehicle. Deputies say during questioning, they were able to determine the three men inside the car were involved in the shooting incident. A gun reportedly stolen from Clarendon County, found inside the car may have been used in the incident according to officials. Sheriff’s deputies also arrested a 4th person not far from the initial scene who officials say was carrying a weapon illegally. An assault rifle was also found near the shooting scene. No one was injured as a result of the shooting.
