SC Tourism Takes a Dip

(WOLO) MYRTLE BEACH,S.C., — A rainier than expected spring season has kept some tourist away from the usual beach hangout. According to a recent study, March and April accumulated so much rain, it’s making the amount of people who visit the Myrtle Beach area drop. Tourism officials say during the most dreary times of the year, they have seen fewer people spending money in the beach area. Vacation rental properties and hotel sales are down compared to this same time last year. (Source: Associated Press )
