Richland Co. Deputies Investigating Shooting

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an early morning shooting that sent one person to the hospital. Deputies say they responded to 7314 Parklane Road around 2:00 a.m. Monday. That address is listed as Mobay’s Carribean Restaurant Bar and Grill. We’re told two groups were involved in an altercation and shots were fired. One person was hit in the upper body, according to officials, and they were transported by an acquaintance to an area hospital. A spokesperson says no one else was injured. The shooting remains under investigation.
