Martin Luther King’s niece speaking at pregnancy center

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) — The niece of the late Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. is speaking in Orangeburg with citizens and community leaders on helping women with unplanned or difficult pregnancies.
The Times and Democrat of Orangeburg reports (http://bit.ly/1OG6pvf) that Alveda King meets Thursday with members of the community at Cornerstone Community Church.
Later that evening, she is the featured speaker at an event supporting Dazz Orangeburg, which is a nonprofit, faith-based pregnancy crisis center.
The center offers medical care, pregnancy support and parenting education.
