LCSD tow truck theftLEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) — Lexington County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for two suspects in a tow-truck theft.

Authorities say the suspects took the two-truck from a business in the 5000-block of Platt Springs Road on December 6.

Security system cameras at the business captured shots of two suspects getting out of a dark Fiat, breaking into the tow truck and driving it away as the Fiat followed. Detectives say one of the suspects is a black male. The other is believed to be a female, however, they’re still unsure of her race.

The tow truck is a 1985 Chevrolet C30 with South Carolina tag: 8875GH. It’s burgundy with silver ghost flames painted on the side. It’s possible the truck has been painted since being stolen.
