Army Soldier Shot, Killed in Home Near Dillon

DILLON, S.C. (AP) — Dillon County deputies and the State Law Enforcement Division are investigating after a soldier was found shot and killed in a home near Dillon.

Dillon County Coroner Donnie Grimsley tells local media outlets that the body of 21-year-old Dequan Jamar Robinson was found early Wednesday morning. Robinson was from Lumberton, North Carolina and was in the U.S. Army.

No arrests have been made in the slaying.
