Watch: Riverbanks Zoo opens New Pedestrian Bridge

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– There’s a new way to get to Riverbanks Zoo.

On Wednesday the New Pedestrian Bridge opened, allowing Zoo visitors to move from the parking lots, over the train tracks safely and right into the Zoo.

The New C-S-X Pedestrian Bridge gives visitors access between the Zoo entrance and the North Parking lot over the CSX Railroad tracks.

The 3.1 Million Dollar project was paid for by the Richland County Transportation Fund.
