COLUMBIA SC (WOLO)–If you have been to EdVenture Children’s Museum in the last several weeks, you may have noticed that Eddie, known as The World’s Largest Boy, has been surrounded by thousands of monarch butterflies. Butterflies painted by over 2,300 fifth grade students from across South Carolina as a part of an outreach program developed by the South Carolina Governor’s School of the Arts and Humanities. The exhibit runs until May 12th, leading up to the Blooming Butterflies exhibit opening on May 13th.
The collaboration between the school and the museum is also part of their Maker Faire program on Saturday.
