Home Buyer Workshop: If you’ve always dreamed of owning your own home, but get intimidated by all the logistics, worry no more.
The City of Columbia is hosting a free workshop for future home buyers.
The two day event is happening today and tomorrow from six to eight at Richland Library North Main.
You’ll learn about the home buying process, money management, understanding credit and getting a mortgage loan.
the workshops are open to everyone, but you do have to register.
Spirit Night : Get out your bats and gloves, because it’s time to play ball.
Richland One is celebrating the start of the new school year with Columbia Fireflies.
Richland One Spirit Night is tomorrow starting at 6:05 and at 7:05 the Fireflies will take on the Charleston Riverdogs.
Tickets are nine bucks and kids under three are free. Parking is three dollars per vehicle.
Water Balloon Battle :If you’re looking for a fun way to beat the heat, look no more. Historic Columbia has something that’s pretty cool.
To kick off the Total Eclipse Weekend Historic Columbia is hosting its third annual water balloon battle.
This is happening Friday, August 18th from 5:30 to 7 at the Robert Mills House and Gardens.
Tickets are 15 dollars for members and 20 dollars for non-members, but you must be 21 or older to attend.
