Districts to receive mobile hot spots

A state agency is helping students across the state gain access to the internet.
Wednesday the state Office of Regulatory Staff, the education department and Commission on Higher Education announced they will distribute a minimum of 100,000 mobile hot spots to South Carolina families.
Officials say priority will be given to households in school districts that have a poverty rate of 86% or higher.
