Former Gamecock quarterback host gold tournament

COLUMBIA, S.C.(WOLO)–  Former Gamecock Quarterback Connor Shaw hosted a golf tournament Friday, Nov. 6, to raise money for the Columbia Police Department’s AEDs.

His nonprofit, Heart Huddle, is dedicated to cardiac arrest preparedness through training and resources.

The funds raised through this year’s tournament will go toward placing AEDs in front line vehicles, helping ensure officers have the equipment to act in those critical first minutes.
