How Global Warming is Changing Hailstones

The earth is warming.  And warmer air holds more water vapor than colder air.  This is having an impact on hailstones.  Although a lot of research is still on-going, the early indications are that in the warmer air, hail is happening a bit less often, but the hailstones are getting bigger.  You can read the whole report here: How climate change is leading to bigger hailstones – BBC Future
