New Tropical Storm – Karl

A new tropical storm has developed today in the southern Gulf of Mexico – in the Bay of Campeche.  The storm doesn’t have very strong winds, but that doesn’t mean it won’t create problems.  The storm is expected to meander for several days in that area before finally making landfall on Friday – all the while dumping lots of rain, which will likely cause mudslide in the mountains.
