FORT JACKSON, S.C. (WOLO)— Fort Jackson announced a sound advisory for residents who live near the base.
On Dec. 13 at approximately 6:40 a.m. cannon fire will be released to celebrate the end of a holiday run. The run is not open to the public.
The howitzer will be located near Darby Field on Jackson Blvd., say officials.
