COLUMBIA SC (WOLO) – Falls are a serious public health concern in the United States, especially in the aging population.
According to Data from Injury prevention last year Government paid over 50 billion dollars treating victims of frequent falls. Falling isn’t just an aging thing, as it can happen at any age, but it can be prevented. Integrative OT and PT and medical providers
together can help aging population to stay safe.
Integrative Occupational and physical therapists can evaluate your balance using various tests, make an assessment of your risk of falling and injuring yourself, and then determine what the cause of your falls might be.
