Governor McMaster: SC officials monitoring Hurricane Milton amid Helene recovery efforts

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)-South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster continues to update recovery efforts from Hurricane Helene.

In a briefing Monday afternoon, McMaster says 23 counties including Richland, Lexington, Newberry, and Saluda are now eligible for FEMA aid.
While the recovery effort continues from Helene, the governor says officials are also keeping an eye on Milton, just in case.
