Burning Ban in SC lifted for 41 counties

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–The statewide burn ban has been lifted for all but five counties. The South Carolina Forestry Commission says Greenville, Horry, Oconee, Pickens and Spartanburg counties will remain under the burning ban until further notice.
In the Upstate, firefighters continue to battle the more than 10,000 acre Table Rock Wildfire in Pickens, which is nine percent contained and the Persimmon Ridge wildfire in Greenville, which is 24 percent contained.
In Horry county, the Carolina Forest Wildfire in Myrtle Beach is 85 percent contained.
