$10,000 Mega Millions ticket sold in West Columbia set to expire soon

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A lucky winner only has a couple days to claim their winning Mega Millions ticket, according to SC Education Lottery.

The winning ticket that was sold in West Columbia, and is worth $10,000.

If you purchased a Mega Millions ticket from the Circle K at 4048 Charleston Hwy in West Columbia in November, you should check your tickets.

It was purchased for the November 8, drawing and matched four white ball numbers and the gold Megaball number to win $10,000.

The ticket must be claimed no later than Wednesday, May 7, before 4 p.m. at the Columbia Claims Center.

If it is mailed in, the envelope must be postmarked by that date.

Additionally, if the prize is not claimed, the $10,000 winnings will be deposited in the Education Lottery Account to support educational programs in South Carolina.
