Lexington Co. Coroner identifies victim of I-26 west collision
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington County Coroner has identified the victim of a collision on I-26 west.
The coroner identified the victim as 60-year-old Daniel White of Landrum.
According to SC Highway Patrol, after 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17, White legally parked his Mazda Sedan on the shoulder at the mile marker 113 entrance ramp to work on his utility trailer when a Ford pickup truck struck him, the Sedan and the trailer.
White died at the scene while the Ford driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
This incident remains under investigation.
