Person arrested after shooting incident at Lee County McDonald’s

LEE COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Lee County deputies have arrested a suspect for a shooting incident Friday.

Deputies say 31-year-old Dequa Davis entered the McDonald’s on Sumter Highway and approached the victim asking for him by name.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Davis produced a handgun, then he and victim struggled over the gun.

During the struggle the victim sustained a gunshot wound.

He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Davis was taken to the Sumter County Detention Center.
