Last shooting suspect in connection with April 8 shooting incident arrested
ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)— Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says the last shooting suspect in connection with an April 8 shooting incident has been arrested.
Sheriff Ravenell says 19-year-old Qzah Brown has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated breach of peace, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, criminal conspiracy.
Brown was taken into custody in Charleston Tuesday afternoon, April 21, by a joint task force of the US Marshals Service and the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office.
His charges stem from a shooting at the Marathon/Four Way at the intersection of Magnolia and Chestnut streets.
“He was on the run for two weeks but now he’s facing up to 30 years,” the sheriff states. “You can run; you can hide. But we will find you and you will face the consequences.”
No one was injured.
Previous arrests:
- Daniel Brown, 22, charged with attempted murder, aggravated breach of peace, and criminal conspiracy.
- Yikese Franklin, 24, of Orangeburg, was charged with attempted murder, aggravated breach of peace, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, criminal conspiracy.
- Ciarra Copeland 31, of Orangeburg, was charged with accessory after the fact of a felony.
- Brandy Mack, 40 and Tyreonna Hamilton, 22, were each charged with accessory after the fact of a felony and obstruction of justice.
- Hamilton was further charged with criminal conspiracy.
