Colonial Life Charity Golf Classic presents check to United Way of the Midlands

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– From the golf course to the community Tuesday, June 16, representatives from the Colonial Life Charity Golf Classic, presented a check of over $86,000 to the United Way of the Midlands.

Tournament officials, along with Colonial Life leadership celebrated the charitable donation.

The golf classic debuted at Woodcreek Club in May and today proceeds from the tournament went to the United Way in the ceremony .

United Way is a charitable organization focused on improving homelessness, children’s literacy, and lack of access to healthcare.
