Manmade Gourmet’s Love It or Chuck It: Sprite Iced Tea
You know those “viral videos” that all the home kitchen cookers post almost daily? We always hear how good they are, but are they worth the megapixels they are stored on?
This week, Tyler Ryan (The Manmade Gourmet) and Crysty Vaughan decided to try one that is super simple, but breaking the Internet
Per usual, we tried to stick, as best we could, to the recipe that we found…
There are only a few things you need for this one:
- Bottle of Sprite
- Regular tea bags
- Lemon Juice (Optional)
How to make it:
- Place tea bags into bottle of Sprite, and put it in the fridge for at least an hour – longer is better
- Pour over ice into another glass or cup
- Put a small amount of lemon juice
- Enjoy
- Enjoy
THIS is where the inspiration came from!
Lessons learned:
- We let it “steep” for an hour, more time might blend the flavors better
- We used 2 bags, a third might help also
