Poll: Health affordability impacts midterms

(CNN)– Healthcare affordability appears to be an issue that could impact the Midterm elections.

About 45% of respondents in an Axios-Ipsos poll say they are more likely to vote for a candidate who supports reviving enhanced Obamacare subsidies.

Axios says political views are a factor but responses weren’t strictly along party lines.

Roughly 54% of respondents say they’re likely to vote for a candidate who backs the expansion of discount drug platforms.

Ipsos’ vice president notes the numbers show Americans want the government to help them pay less for healthcare.
