Oil prices slip below $100 per barrel

(CNN)– Oil prices are at their lowest levels in about two weeks.

Brent Crude, the global benchmark dropped two-and-a-half percent Tuesday (September 22) to below $98 a barrel.

U.S. Crude fell 3% to just under $90.

Saudi Arabia temporarily shut its east-west pipeline earlier this month after drone strikes damaged several pumping stations.

The pipeline had been moving about six million barrels of crude a day during the war.
