Pet of the Week: Hamil
KERSHAW CO., SC (WOLO)- Meet Hamil! This furry feline is looking for his ‘furever’ home through the Kershaw County Humane Society.
Hamil was found abandoned on the front porch of the shelter a few months ago.
This orange tabby is not your typical cat either. Hamil is full of love, cuddles, purrs, and kisses! At just 6 months old, shelter staff say he could adapt nicely in a home with other pets, but they always encourage meet and greets to ensure he is the right fit for you.
Hamil’s adoption fee is sponsored thanks to help from kind donors over the holidays, so he can go home with you for free!
Kitten season is coming up in the Spring where shelters often receive an influx of homeless cats and kittens. KCHS officials want to remind you of their Trap, Neuter, Release program. “If you find you’ve got some kitty cats showing up at your door, and you don’t mind feeding them and keeping them safe, you can do our TNR for $25, and they’ll protect your property, help with your rodent population, and it keeps the cat population down,” said Tina Werden, the Marketing and Community Relations Coordinator with the Kershaw County Humane Society.
Adopt Hamil or visit other pets today at the shelter located at 128 Black River Rd., Camden, SC 29020.
