Deputies investigate drive-by shooting in northeast Richland County

Richland County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a drive-by shooting at Brookside Crossing Apartments in Northeast Richland County

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Richland County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a drive-by shooting at Brookside Crossing Apartments in Northeast Richland County. The complex is off Parklane Road in the Dentsville area.

RCSD Spokesman Lt. Curtis Wilson says authorities arrived on scene around 9 p.m. Saturday. One of the two involved vehicles was still there. They’re searching for the second.

Lt. Wilson say two people showed up at an area hospital with gunshot wounds.
