2 men charged in murder of 86-year-old shot in bed

ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) — Anderson County investigators have charged two men with murder and are looking for a third in connection with the shooting death of an 86-year-old man discovered by volunteers delivering food.

Sheriff John Skipper said Wednesday 28-year-old Walter Chase Alley and 21-year-old Charlie Robinson have been charged with the murder of Glenn Craft of Belton. Skipper says the two also are charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

The sheriff says investigators are looking for Craft’s 17-year-old great-grandson Charles Bell on a murder charge.

County Coroner Greg Shore says volunteers were taking food to Craft when they found his body on Monday. An official at the Anderson County Detention Center said it isn’t clear whether the two men have attorneys.
