Cam Newton Jerseys Most Sought After Christmas Gift in NC

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — All North Carolinians want for Christmas is a Cam Newton jersey, apparently.

A new report and interactive map by Vox based on Google data shows the unique gift items people searched for most in each state across the country.

The jersey of the undefeated Carolina Panthers’ star quarterback was the most sought after holiday gift in the Tarheel State.

Some of the results seem quite in keeping with states’ individual characters. Residents in rainy Washington, for example, are looking for North Face rain jackets while in snowy Colorado, Sorel women’s winter boots are all the rage.
