Pier 1 Imports Recalls Swivel Dining Chairs

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Pier 1 Imports recalls Swivel Dining Chairs due to possible Fall Hazard.

According to consumer experts, the chairs can break at the base, posing fall hazard to the user.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports the recall involves Pier 1 Imports Capella Island Swivel Dining chairs. The plastic wicker chairs have a natural wood color. The chair measures about 26 inches wide by 26 inches deep and 39 inches high.  Consumers can return the chair to Pier 1 Imports for a refund.

The specific product was sold at Pier 1 Imports stores nationwide and online at Pier1.com from January 2015 through October 2015 for between $240 and $500.
