Tyler Ryan speaks with Members of SC Pride about the details of the annual parade
COLUMBIA SC (WOLO) – For the thirty-fourth time, businesses, organizations, and the community, all come together for a week of celebration with SC Pride in Columbia.
According to Dylan Gunnels, the President of Famously Hot SC Pride, there are events that run each day through Sunday, including advocacy, the history of the LGBTQ+ community here in the Palmetto State, movies at The Nick, a day long festival, and of course, the Get Lit Night Parade, hosted by ABC Columbia’s Tyler Ryan.
SC Pride Treasurer Jess Brown says that many of the events are free and open to the public, including the parade and the Festival on Saturday. She says that there are over seventy entries for the Friday evening parade.
