Police: Woman charged with Cruelty to Child at Midlands Preschool

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia police say Danielle Wages is charged with Cruelty to a Child.

Investigators say on October 26th at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool, Wages was accused of grabbing a 3 year old boy by his arms with force and leaving visible marks.

Police say she was an employee at Chesterbrook at the time of the incident, her current employment status is unknown.

According to police the boy’s parents saw the marks and immediately called authorities.

Police say Wages was released from jail on a $465 bond.
