Gamecock wide receiver entering transfer portal
One of Carolina’s top receivers is entering the transfer portal, ABC Columbia learned Thursday. The Big Spur first reported the news.
Wideout Juice Wells plans to transfer out of South Carolina, just ten days after announcing he would come back to play for the Gamecocks.
This is a huge loss for the Gamecocks, if Wells does indeed transfer. He had just three receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown this year because of an injury, but that came after 68 receptions for 928 yards and six touchdowns in 2022.
No official announcement was made from Wells Thursday.
