Teen found safe, says Richland County deputies

Richland County deputies say 16-year-old Kamya Childs was last seen on Sunnydale Drive in Columbia on Thursday, Feb. 29.

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help finding a missing teen, say the department.

Richland County deputies say 16-year-old Kamya Childs was last seen on Sunnydale Drive in Columbia on Thursday, Feb. 29.

The teen is 5’2, 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a light purple sweatshirt, light blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Investigators say she has short hair, usually wears a scarf on her head and does not have a cell phone with her.
