Gamecock men’s basketball dancing in the Steel City

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–The South Carolina Men’s Basketball team is back in the NCAA tournament.

The Gamecocks are a 6 seed in the tournament and will travel to Pittsburgh to take on the 11 seed Oregon Ducks out of the Pac 12.

This is South Carolina’s first trip to the Big Dance since the Final Four run in 2017.

In the 2023-2024 season the Gamecocks set a program record with 25 wins under second year head coach Lamont Paris.

The Gamecocks and Ducks will tip off on Thursday.
