SC WBB forward entering transfer portal

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– University of South Carolina head women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley announced Monday that freshman forward Shahnya Jah has entered the transfer portal.

Coach Staley released a statement Monday morning. It reads, “Sahnya Jah officially entered the transfer portal today. It is unfortunately that her time with us was short, but we wish her the best in the next steps of her career.”

Jah played in 16 games for the Gamecocks this season averaging just over 3 pts. per game.

She was suspended in February for “conduct detrimental to the team.”
