RCSD: Multiple people shot in Richland Co. neighborhood, two pronounced dead at scene

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies say three people were injured by gunfire after a Thursday night shooting.
A 14-year-old was taken by EMS to a local hospital for treatment. Also, a 16-year-old and a 36-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Richland County Coroner’s Office has released the names of the victims who died.
Coroner Naida Rutherford says Marvin D. Archie, 36, of Columbia and Jayden Scales-Amiker, 16, of Columbia are the victims of the shooting.
Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to submit a tip anonymously to CrimeStoppers.

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) — The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a shooting that left multiple people suffering with gunshot wounds.
Authorities say they were called to the 100 block of Angel Garden Way around 7 p.m. Thursday night.
When deputies arrived on the scene they tell ABC Columbia News they found several people shot.
As of 8 p.m., officials say this is still a very active scene as they begin the preliminary stages of their investigation.
So Far, RCSD says this incident is believed to be isolated.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have information about the shooting that can help with their ongoing investigation to contact CrimeStoppers or the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
