COLUMBIA SC (WOLO) – Since the mid 1960’s a favorite for the Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania has been buckeyes, named because of their resemblance of the nut of the Ohio Buckeye Tree.
GMC Producer Tori Adams shared her simple recipe for this super sweet treat:
1 c creamy peanut butter
1/4 c unsalted butter, melted
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
melting chocolate
combine peanut butter, butter and vanilla extract in a bowl. slowly add powdered sugar.
form 1 inch balls and freeze for 20 minutes.
Remove from the freezer, dip in chocolate and enjoy!
