Comedian Darren Knight gives Tyler Ryan a preview of his comedy house routine

COLUMBIA SC (WOLO)– Over the last year, former Sears loss prevention investigator Darren Knight was laid off.  Having some extra time on his hands, he created a character, based a lot on his grandmother and a little of his mom, and started a YouTube channel.  Knights “Southern Momma” character soon became an Internet sensation, and landed Knight into the spotlight as a standup comedian boasting nearly 1.7 Facebook fans, and working through a sold out 90 show tour.

Knight stopped by and spoke with Tyler Ryan on Good Morning Columbia, taking time, of course, to take the Cheese Quiz.
