RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A deputy has been terminated after his arrest for domestic violence charges, according to RCSD.

The sheriff’s department says 26-year-old Brandon Davis was arrested Monday night, Sept. 30, by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.

Davis was charged with domestic violence 2nd degree and taken to jail.

“Domestic violence is never the answer, and if you make the choice to put your hands on someone you are responsible for your actions and the consequences. No one is above the law,” says Richland County Sheriff’s Department Sheriff Leon Lott.

Davis had been with the sheriff’s department since July of 2023, and most recently served as a patrol deputy in the Dentsville area of Richland County.
