Batesburg man charged with attempted murder after stabbing incident, say deputies

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Batesburg man has been charged with attempted murder.

According to Lexington County deputies, 38-year-old Jesse Jones is accused of stabbing a man on Thursday afternoon.

Deputies responded to the 100 block of Haven Road and determined the victim and Jones got into an argument before the stabbing.

The victim was treated at a local hospital and Jones was taken to the Lexington County Detention Center.
