Man who was last in contact with family in September is safe, say Sumter Police

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– Officers with the Sumter Police Department were able to make contact with Lang.

And say he is safe.

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter Police is asking for the communities help finding a man who was reported as missing on Monday, said officers.

According to the Sumter Police Department, 36-year-old William Lang, of Colonial Drive, was reported missing Monday, Nov. 25.

Officers said Lang has not been seen or in contact with his family since Sept. 15.

He is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighs about 240 lbs., and has a tattoo on his forearm.
