Man arrested in connection with murder at apartment complex

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with murder in relation to a man’s death at an apartment complex, said LCSD.

Justin Brandon McCrae is accused of shooting a man to death at the Riverbend Apartments on Saturday evening, Nov. 30.

Investigators said McCrae was arrested shortly after the shooting at the apartment complex off North Lucas Street in West Columbia.

He is also charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and he’s being held in the Lexington County Detention Center.
