CRFD control fire at former Dollar Tree, heavy smoke coming from building
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– On Monday evening, Columbia-Richland firefighters responded to a reported fire at a former Dollar Tree, says the fire department.
Firefighters say they responded to heavy smoke and fire coming from a former Dollar Tree in the 4000 block of West Beltline Boulevard shortly before 9:50 p.m.
Columbia-Richland Fire Department says firefighters mounted a defensive attack on the fire and were able to bring the fire under control.
No one was injured. The building had been unoccupied after another fire earlier this year.
The cause of the fire will be investigated.
