Gamecocks to use all three RB’s Saturday against NC State

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) Will Muschamp said Tuesday afternoon during his weekly press conference that all three running backs — Rico Dowdle, Ty’Son Williams and AJ Turner — will all get carries Saturday against NC State.

Muschamp added that Dowdle would get the first carries, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s the starting running back.

The three running backs all have different styles, with Dowdle and Williams bringing strength and Turner, speed.

“All three are quality players,” said Muschamp. “Whoever has the hot hand is going to carry us.”
