One killed, one injured during weekend Sumter shooting

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– One person was killed and another was injured during a shooting at a Midlands hotel over the weekend.

Investigators say they responded to the Rodeway Inn on North Washington Street around 11 p.m. on Saturday night, Jan. 25.

Police say 28-year-old Raekwon Owens was killed and a second victim was injured.
