State lawmakers, members of SC Manufacturer’s Alliance announced priorities for legislative session

 

 

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– State lawmakers and members of the South Carolina Manufacturer’s Alliance announced their priorities for this legislative session on Wednesday morning, Jan. 29.

Their goals include advocating for affordable, reliable energy solutions, promoting a competitive tax structure, and building a pipeline of talent to meet the industry’s evolving needs.

Lawmakers say when it comes to manufacturing, South Carolina needs to complete on a global scale.

The South Carolina Manufacturing Alliance was founded in 1902.
